Zari

Zari is taken from an antique Indian sari woven in silk and ‘zari’ (gold thread). The small dot is taken from the motif woven in the field of the cloth. Printed by gravure to retain the delicate detail of the weave it was inspired by and reflecting a trend for wallpaper designs which replicate the textures of fine fabrics.
