Should I touch up previously painted walls?
Touching up walls without painting the full wall is not recommended and is very difficult to achieve successfully. Most times the paint will not match unless you have the original paint and even then the original may have faded or become discoloured. Even if you buy the same brand of paint with the same shade a few years later, it may not match completely. Deeper colours will be less successful.

Do you have a paint that can help with bathrooms that suffer from bad condensation?
Leyland Trade Hardwearing Acrylic Eggshell has stain and moisture resistant properties, and it can handle extreme condensation, so much so it is often specified to be used in commercial kitchen/bathroom and swimming pool environments.

I'm painting new plaster, any tips?
As long as the plaster is dry we would recommend thinning down the first coat of emulsion that is being used with clean water, approximately 10% e.g. 500ml water to 5 Litres of paint. This will help the first coat of paint go on easier and will quench the porosity of the new plaster. Do not seal the walls with anything else as this could make application of the paint harder.

Do you stock a colour that is not on the website?
We can mix paint colours from most brands. Please use our Colour Matching Service to order your desired colour and finish or give us a call and we will be happy to help. Mixed paint is available in either Leyland Trade or Johnstone's Trade.

Why is a sample pot not available in my chosen colour?
Some paint colours cannot be mixed into a sample pot size as the colourant cannot be dispensed in the correct amount needed to accurately create the chosen shade.
